User Review: Kelty Canyon Ridge

Rating: rated 4 of 5 stars
Design: three season freestanding A-frame
Sleeps: 2
Ease of Setup: very easy
Weight: ~6 lbs.
Price Paid: $180

A fantastic 3-season. I've had mine for about 11 years and it takes high winds and hail wonderfully. This put the Eureka Timberlite to shame. I've had a lot of luck with Kelty tents in the past, and this is no exception.

I have three issues with it, but all are fairly small.

1) Although my 6'0" frame fits in it well, my 6'3" brother has wakes up with dew on the head and foot of his sleeping bag.

2) The rear window is only a screen. A nylon cover would keep out the wind and not add much weight.

3) The vestibule is poorly designed. A puddle of water accumulates at the base.
