my tent has stood up to four feet of snow in the Winds, three weeks of basecamping in Yosemite, a blizzard in the Three Sisters, and countless miles on the AT. Though I believe I may have pushed the acceptible limits of my tent, it has held up beautifully. It handles snow loads well, stays warm in the winter, and I have never gotten wet in it. The back window is only mesh, and it would be nice to be able to close it, and the old style vestibule has a tendency to droop in strange places, though this problem may have been fixed in the '96 model. After 5 years with my tent, I don't think I could have bought a better 3 season home.
