Kelty Orbit 15
Source: bought it new
Price Paid: $82
Just bought it last week and took it up Camels Hump in VT. It has lots of nice little features (ice ax loop, rain cover), but the two best for a small pack are that 1) it has the frame that keeps it off your back and 2) the waist pads (not the belts themselves) are wide and therefore comfortable.
- It's off your back.
- Zippers go down both sides most of the way.
- Built in rain cover, ice ax loop, two bottle holders.
- Small storage compartment up top for things you immediately need.
- It's one complete compartment (top loading).
- Depending on the bladder you use, could be awkward getting one in.
