Kelty Parthenon 8
Room for two adults, child, and a portable baby crib, gear with room to spare. I can stand up fully in it. Wife is pleased. What more does one need? Front vestibule is just right for putting shoes, not much else though.
Pros
- Waterproof
Cons
- Super large footprint may be tough to find campsites
Setup is pretty easy with one, cake with two.
Got this for wind and rain protection and it doesn't fail.
Good ventilation, can get hot if it is in the sun and the rain fly is up.
Packs smaller than you think for its size. Still would not use it for any hike in to camp.
I cannot speak to its durability, but I hope to get several years out of this with many family trips to come.
