What I have is the Kelty Radial Light backback. I think they changed the name to "Cimmaron" for a short time. This was and is a radical external frame design. Most people on the trail think it's an internal frame. The frame has a curved radius from left to right that naturally conforms to the body. It really is a hybrid between internal and external frame designs. Shoulder strap and hip belt adjustments are infinite.

I've had this pack for nearly 8 years now and still I love it. Even on week long journies there is plenty of room inside. If you are looking for a great external frame pack, find one of these. I'm not sure if Kelty still makes these or not. I got this one for x-mas but I think the retail at the time was close to $300 dollars. Even loaded for bear, this pack is extremely comfortable and agile for an external frame. Expect it to last forever.
