Design: mummy
Fill: Hollofil II
Temperature Rating: 15 deg. F
Weight: 4 lbs.
Price Paid: $50
For the price, you cannot beat this bag. It is very warm. I slept in it on a 20 degF night and was perfectly warm. Key to this of course are a good pad underneath, and keeping the hood cinched snugly around your face. The construction quality is very good.
Down is lighter and more compressible, but I won't carry it because I need to know that I've got warmth available, even if my stuff gets wet (and it is likely to at some point on the trail).
