Kershaw Shuffle

photo: Kershaw Shuffle folding knife

Solid, sharp, small, and lightweight...a good knife for adding to your pack.

Pros

  • Small
  • Light
  • Compact
  • Well-made

At just under 6 inches and 3 ounces, Kershaw has managed to make a very small, very lightweight knife that is just big enough to be useful.

The handle is less than 3", so, to provide you with extra grip space, the finger notches extend out onto the tang.

This works equally well for cutting line or paring fruit. Additionally the knife features a bottle opener, a belt clip, and a keychain hole (which could be used as a flathead screwdriver).

My daybag has a few stretchy mesh pockets on the shoulder straps and this knife fits in there perfectly—immediately available should I need it. I find I need a blade more often than a multi-tool, so I pack the multi-tool on my back.
