Straps are a little narrow, even for a basic trekking pole. Poles are very light however and strong. They have helped my son and myself get through some tough stretches of hiking. I've only had the poles slip down out of their locked position a couple of times. Cork grips are very nice.

Great starter poles that I will give to my son when I get old and need Anti-shock versions. Adjust up to 145 cm.
