If you want or need an adjustable cane, this is it! Mine is one of four or five Komperdell canes I own, each with its own good points. However, the Anti-Shock is the one I use and abuse daily. I was unsure how I would like the anti-shock feature, but once I got used to it I would never go back. On the other hand, the anti-shock can be disabled simply so if you don't like it it won't be a problem.

The cane is infinitely adjustable from minimum to maximum length, the handle is comfortable, and a wrist strap is included. One downside is that the paint tends to wear at the tightening points. Also, you will need enough hand strength to tighten the adjusters securely (and also to loosen them). If the adjusters aren't tight the can can collapse -- not something you look forward to. Also, the metal tip is hollow-ground and sharp -- so sharp it will quickly punch through a rubber tip. After piercing one tip I tapped a small washer into the replacement tip. That solved the problem.

One final good point -- unlike the folding canes I have used, the Walker doesn't click as you walk with it. Properly adjusted, tightened, and with a washer in the rubber tip, I use mine constantly, and I love it.
