I've had this bag for two years, and I have to admit that I've been thoroughly impressed. I've had this bad in temps down to the single digits while sleeping under an astro bivy, and I stayed toasty warm.
Granted, LL Bean is not where most people look for serious gear, but I think they've outdone themselves this time. I also took this bag on a NOLS Wilderness course in which we camped in altitudes in excess of 12,000 ft with only rainflys, and thus exposed to the windy chills, but this bag kept me warm. However, you will get hot in temps that rise above the 40's.
If you're someone who is looking for a great bag at a great price and not worried about having a brand name bag, then this bag is for you.
