User Review: L.L. Bean Summit 3D 20°
Rating: ![]()
Design: Mummy
Fill: Polarguard HV
Temperature Rating: 20F
Weight: 3 lbs 6oz
Price Paid: $140
This was my first mummy. Not as nice as big, fluffy, rectangular, flannel-lined "car camping" bags, (of course!), but it kept me warm. Actually, I'm a hot sleeper, and I imagine I could probably use this bag down to around 0* F. I would have liked a little more wiggle room, but it's only $140- a very good "beginners mummy", I'd say. When I do decide to upgrade, I'll get one of the new mummies with the stretch sides for more wiggle room. Other than that, the bag packed well, has good loft, kept me MORE than warm on a chilly early-April night (45 * F), and I would recommend to anyone looking for their first mummy, or looking for a good "budget" mummy.
