Perfect boot in mild or in-town conditions, walking to store, work or newspaper box. Ideal in wet, raining, slush and mud. Perfect to slip on quickly. Great value.
- Perfect for errands or in town
- Fast to slip on and off
- Ideal on sidewalks that have chemical or salts applied
- Fashion statement for many decades
- Limited insulation value
- Can be chilly in below freezing
- Modest traction on soles, not for black ice days!
Fit well, consider sizing with a heavy rag or fleece sock for extra insulation value. Lacing allows a tight and snug fit. Comfortable out of box, gets better with many miles.
Very water resistant in shallow puddles. My favorite in autumn when the lawn or forest has much dew or frost, but later in day it drys. Perfect for yard work in wet conditions. Arch support is ideal.
Very well made, with the legendary warranty, and great customer service reputation!
I have worn for decades and love this product! On river camping trips, these are perfect for evening time around the fire, and to wear to kitchen setting for early morning coffee on chilly days. Rainstorms won't dampen your days.

Whoever says "they don't build things like they used to," doesn't own these boots. Today, our signature boots are still sewn right here in Maine one pair at a time by expert craftspeople whose technical skills and passion for their work is evident in every pair of boots they make. Warm, dry feet haven't gone out of style in a hundred years, so we haven't needed to change L.L.'s innovative design. Just as when he created them in 1912, our boots combine the waterproof protection of rubber-bottom boots with the supple comfort of full-grain leather. A uniquely shaped foot form offers comfort and stability, and a steel shank adds support. Our original rubber chain-tread bottom provides traction and durability while keeping your feet dry. Many boots on the market might look similar to L.L.Bean Boots, but they lack the attention to detail and premium-quality materials that have allowed ours to stand the test of time. Made in Maine, USA. Fit best with heavyweight socks. If you wear a half size or prefer light- or midweight socks, please order the next size down.
