This was my first mummy. Not as nice as big, fluffy, rectangular, flannel-lined "car camping" bags, (of course!), but it kept me warm. Actually, I'm a hot sleeper, and I imagine I could probably use this bag down to around 0* F. I would have liked a little more wiggle room, but it's only $140- a very good "beginners mummy", I'd say. When I do decide to upgrade, I'll get one of the new mummies with the stretch sides for more wiggle room. Other than that, the bag packed well, has good loft, kept me MORE than warm on a chilly early-April night (45 * F), and I would recommend to anyone looking for their first mummy, or looking for a good "budget" mummy.

Wow. I've stolen this bag at this price. Have used it to 8 degrees and I was toasty in my long underwear and fleece socks. Great hood and draft collar, plenty of room without feeling like its too big. Doesn't pack tiny but fits into my narrow sleeping bag compartment. A great deal for a 3 1/2 season bag.
