I've had this pack for over 3 years now and it has been amazing. I had never heard of Lafuma before getting it, but a friend gave it to me. It has been through a lot and the shoulder strap finally broke a few months ago (after carrying over 60 lbs of rocks doing some geologic sampling). This pack is bare-bones, light, comfortable with any weight, and versatile (I carry skis, do one night pack trips, geology field work, carry books to and from class, and day hikes). It is also lightweight, but has taken a lot of punishment without the fabric ripping. I'd recommend a Lafuma pack to anybody.
