User Review: Ledge Featherlite +20

Ok I will admit that this review might be partly my fault.

First of all one should expect problems with a bag that's to big for yourself. I'm 5'10" and weigh 145. This bag is 84"x32"x20". In my opinion that is a BIG bag for my build. But the Ledge company only makes the one size (one size fits all?).

I bought the bag becouse I needed a winter bag for the Oregon coast. First night out was a short trip out to Three Mile Lake. It was very moist night. No rain. But even the underside of the tarp was dripping in the morning. Temps were in the low 40s that night. I wore my thermals to bed. The bag never warmed up at all. I had room to get way down in the bag and roll around.

In writing this review I realize that some of this is my fault. But Ledge only make this size bag so some of the blame is on their heads.

In short make sure that the bag you by fits you well or a +20 bag won't keep you warm at +40.

Other that that the stitching is great. And it comes with an exterior zip pocket. I like inner pockets. Zips 3/4 down the left side. with a very nice air baffle. I'm sure that someone of a large stature would be very comfy in it.
