Summary

This is a great trekking pole! I actually found this set while thru hiking the AT. They were just sitting there for 3 days, so I claimed them as mine. Trekking poles are great knee savers, especially going downhill. The straps become very annoying, at least for me, so I cut them off. The antishock is able to be turned off which is really nice, because I didn't like the antishock so much.

Pros

  • Light
  • Sturdy
  • Durable

Cons

  • Straps are annoying

Leki is a well known brand and so far, I have had no problems while using the Makalu Titanium. I plan to use this set while thru hiking the PCT this summer!
