This is a great pack whether you snowboard or ski. There are holders for both. Large YKK zippers never jam. Pack can compress when not fully loaded. Shoulder straps and suspension system are very comfortable. Has provisions for ice-axes and avalanche probes. Has a pocket specificaly for a shovel. Perfect size for the backcountry day trip.
