Summary

The Big Boss of Creeking.

Pros

Stability (primary and secondary)
Fast and predictable resurfacing
Boofs like a bat out of hell; lands like an angel
No edges
Smaller paddlers should buy the Jefe Chico!

Cons

No edges
Smaller paddlers say it behaves like a cork
Sexiness can sometimes be distracting.

In my opinion, the Jefe Grande is the most bomb proof creek boat on the market. Super forgiving without sacrificing performance. Some point to its lack of chines or edges as a negative, and while it is true that this boat doesn't carve, it more than makes up for it in primary and secondary stability, boof-a-bility, and resurfacing. It is what it is: the big boss of creeking.

I've paddled the Jefe Grande in everything from class III to class V and you can rely on this boat to get the job done every time.
