Manufacturer's Description refers to the men's version

Quality performance in winter day hiking is what you get with the Freeshape FX Pulse thanks to its light yet sturdy design. The frames, made of 7075 aluminum tubing; the strongest and lightest available, are asymmetric which allows for a comfortable stride without sacrificing floatation.

The padded contoured binding is tightened with mitten friendly straps keeping you comfortable and secure. With the rotating pivot, fatigue is minimized and the steel front crampon provides excellent bite in all snow conditions.
