This is possibly the best boot I've ever worn. When taking these boots on a NOLS course, I neglected to break them in prior to the trip and feared the havoc I feared the still stiff boots would play on my feet. But after four weeks of tromping over 95 miles through the Wind Rivers my feet didn't even suffer a hot spot let alone a blister. Soreness was purely from miles, not from the boot. Add a good coat of waterproofing and some good quality gaiters and you may just want to be your feet in that next hailstorm or hike.
