I have been using this jacket for the last two years, mostly for winter and fall hiking, mountain biking and regular day to day use.

Verdict is: it breathes well, very waterproof, very low maintenance, packable, and full of useful features.

Pros:

Hiking fall/winter: The styling is great for hiking with a small pack. It fits with the body (at least to my body shape) very nicely and doesn't bunch up, even under heavy loads. Seamless shoulders are very helpful for backpacking. The handwarmer pockets are also located at a convenient position for easy access when you are carrying a pack. The articulated sleeves gives you more flexibility so that you can reach further.

Mountain biking; I use this jacket mostly for mountain biking during fall and winter. The ski jacket styling gives me most aeordynamism and light weight helps me log longer miles. The moisture management both inside and outside, keeps me very comfortable on long rides. The pumpkin/cinnamon color combination is also helpful for visibility. The pitzips help me air out when needed.

Regular use: With a fleece insulation under the jacket you can create a great cold weather system. With a down insulation under this jacket I went ice fishing for several hours in different parts of upstate N.Y. and Canada.

Ski: I never used it for skiing, so would not be able to comment, but this jacket is designed for skiing, so it should be perfect for that use.

TRIPLE POINT CERAMIC works.

Cons: The velcro makes the chest pockets difficult to access. The pit zips are not easy to open and close. You have to use both hands to open or close them. I found it inconvenient during mountain biking.

When zipped over a thick layer of fleece or down, the neck area hugs too tightly. It is helpful during strong wind, but other times it somewhat restricts movement.
