Best money I ever spent. Salesman let me load it up with gear and jump around the shop like an ape. Stuck to my back like it was part of my body.

Adjustable internal frame and multiple tensioning/compression straps mean you can tailor the fit until its just right. It has a good, comfortable belt, and good lower back ventilation. The main pack has two flaps, but the pockets are divided by an internal zipper, so they can be split or combined as needed. Even the day pack comes with hide-away staps and a carry handle, to make into a sporty-looking briefcase. Every seam on this baby is double stitched and reinforced at crucial points, and the zippers are big, tough mothers, no cheap parts on this one (hence the price). It's this attention to detail I love about this company. You can tell these guys use this stuff - they know the little annoyances and have designed solutions into their products.

The best part is that the Gemini converts into luggage with zip-away straps. Great for checking luggage onto a plane. But don't let that fool you - the adjustable internal frame is the real thing. This pack is just perfect for travelling/trekking.

I've had mine for six years, and its been to some pretty silly places - and not a stitch has gone wrong.

Worth every damn penny - swim to Australia to get one if you have to.
