The Macpac Traverse felt great in the shop, and even better out on the trail. Very supportive, very tough, it will last me for many years bashing through the coarse Australian bush. Aztec canvas fabric is great for shedding rain, though I got a little seepage through a couple of seams. No big deal. Dynamic harness system allows movement flexibility without the excessive movement of some lighter weight packs. This is a no-fuss pack made for the long haul, devoid of the superfluous bells and whistles that proliferate so many other "hi-tech" packs these days. Macpac have kept it simple. I love it!
