User Review: Magellan SporTrak Pro

Magellan SporTrak Pro
Above: The current SporTrak Pro, which may differ slightly from the version reviewed.

Rating: rated 4 of 5 stars
Price Paid: $230

Great GPS with up-loadable regions and waypoints (with Mapsend Topo CD – extra).

The only negative thing I have to say is the battery compartment screw can strip out if you're not careful. The Magellan support staff was great – even sent me three FREE accessories for my inconvenience – when was the last time that happened!?

If you can afford it go with the SporTrak Color unit. The battery compartment has been redesigned and is MUCH better. Not to mention more features such as the three-axis compass.
