Summary
A water tight, durable flashlight assembly with a canvas belt holster. Metal body with threads and o-rings for sealing and a feature for cordage to ensure that it does not get lost. If there was a headband that would mount it to the side of my head, this would be the perfect system.
Pros
- Water tight and durable
- Holster
Cons
- A bit heavier than some lights
- Requires a hand to hold it
To avoid battery acid leaks, I store the AA batteries in a ziploc bag and I keep matches and a striking board in the water tight interior of this flashlight. I swap the batteries and fire starting kit when it comes time to hike. I do not want my flashlight ruined while stored by battery acid.
