I bought this tent for 2 people and 2 dogs. For its first trip it went to Death Valley on New Years. The tent was not that easy to set up. The color coded tabs are different from most tents and the center was difficult to determine. Despite that once I set it up a few times it got easier.

I was a little concerned about how low the bathtub floor was in regards to the dogs - whether they would put a paw or claw through it but it doesn't seem that it will happen. Ventilation was terrific. The tent itself is all mesh.

One of the other main reasons I bought this tent in particular was for windy conditions. At the same time last year my favorite tent in the world - a Kelty Gunnison 4 - got flattened in the wind - completely guyed out. We did end up with significant wind and this tent held up fine - guyed out.

My only pet peeves are the low doors - VERY hard to get in and out of because the tent is very low - but good for wind. I guess you have to sacrifice one for the other! I also love the color but the tent looks a bit like a squashed pumpkin set up:)

Design: three-season freestanding dome
Sleeps: 3
Ease of Setup: Easy once you figure it out

The Aeros 3P comfortably accommodate three people, yet surprisingly weighs what you’d expect a lightweight two-person tent to weigh. Ideal for hot and humid climes thanks to its no-see-um mesh canopy that keeps the weight down and also fends off pesky bugs. The unique “bent knee” pole system increases living space without compromising structural integrity. When the weatherman’s forecast isn’t accurate just throw on the denier nylon ripstop rainfly that has a 1,800 mm silicon/polyurethane water-resistant coating for a foul-weather barrier. The bathtub-style floor features top-of-the-line, 3,000 mm thick nylon ripstop fabric. For added peace of mind, double up on protecting gear and sleeping bags by buying Marmots Aeros 3P footprint. The dual-door design makes egress and entry easier for two campers.
