Great bag!! Bought in 1995 and used mostly on colder trips in the Colorado Mountains. The quality of the bag is top notch and the -5 F rating is conservative. On one winter trip the outside temp (slept in tent) was -20 F and stayed warm. The Gossamer fabric is silky to the touch, feels great and stuffs well. While extremely warm, it is also versatile enough to take on all but the warmest trips. If you were going to buy just one bag this would be the ticket. This bag has been in the Marmot line up for some time and probably for good reason - when compared to other manufactures of similar quality like FF, TNF & WM, ounce for ounce (literally) you get more bag for your bucks.
