I have tried a LOT of wicking/performance t-shirts -- TNF vaporwick, EMS techwick, REI products, merino wool items from Ibex -- but none have proven as good as the Doctor D (and its brothers, the Barnum (long sleeve) and the Mesquite? (same as Doctor D, but no contrasting panels). I have to ascribe to the weave of the polyester fabric -- a pique, which is a tight mesh like the old style Lacoste polo shirts. Every wicking shirt should use this weave -- works better, is more comfortable, and drapes better. Other than the failure to include some sort of anti-stink technology, it's a perfect shirt. Naturally, Marmot seems to be ending production...Buy it if you can.
