I bought this tent for my wife and me to have some room. This is definitely roomy and with us both being 5'8" we can sit up with room to spare. With it being for taller people we can keep most of our stuff in the tent on either end. When we travel we split the weight and it is reasonable. I still use it flying solo because the weight is worth the real estate. This thing is a tank in the South Texas wind and rains. With a bit of back yarding, you can have this tent up in a few minutes flat.

This tent is for anyone looking for a really roomy 2-person tent at the expense of a little weight.

Pros

  • Spacious
  • Easy to set up
  • Waterproof
  • Stable in the winds
  • Comes with footprint and gear loft
  • Inexpensive

Cons

  • Slightly heavy
  • Crap tent stakes

I have been using this tent for two years. It has been all over Texas in all four seasons. I use it mostly when trekking with the wife, but have used it many times when flying solo. For two people of moderate height (5'8") this thing is a palace.

We have had it in high 40+ mph wind, multi-day torrential downpour and it stayed upright and bone dry. It has never even built up unreasonable condensation in the humid summers. This tent has never let me down once. It is a war wagon as far as I am concerned.

With a little practice this tent can go up in just a few minutes consistently. Tear down takes a few more and you have to practice packing it in the way it first came out of the package.

If you need a reasonably priced tent that comes with a footprint this is a win. If you shop around you can find this on sale almost anywhere. I have never had to test Marmot's warranty, but that in itself may be a testament to the product.

Fantastic tent.

Pros

  • Room
  • Comes with gear loft and foot pad

Cons

  • Minor stability problems
  • Packability

This is a great tent. It has two entry doors with vestibules at each and a lot of room in the middle  Enough room for two comfortably and it is easy to set up as well.

The tent packs down light and tight, but not easily. The tent held up in high winds in Arizona well but was buffeted about a bit (jingle free zipper was quiet though!). Minor condensation but not at bad as others in this price range.

I have always liked Marmot gear so I was confident when giving this tent a try. Worth every penny as no tent in the $250 range will be perfect, this one come fairly close. Just be prepared to spend some time packing it down to get it back to size.  Also, is it ok to say I like the color scheme....because I do.
