rated 4.0 of 5 stars
photo: Marmot NanoWave 55 warm weather synthetic sleeping bag

Backpacking somewhere, where it doesn't cool down at night? Looking to save space, and weight in your backpack? Answered yes to these questions, then this is the bag for you.

Pros

  • Lightweight
  • Compact (compresses down to almost the size of a softball)
  • Simple design

Cons

  • It's a 55º bag (make sure you understand this)
  • Non-water resistant material
  • Narrow width

I used this bag on a 6-night hike through Yosemite. This probably wasn't the best choice in sleeping bags for that hike. The last night of the hike was the only night where the temperatures were above 50º.

If you are going to purchase this product make sure you're checking the temperature of your nightly destination to make sure that you will be warm enough.
