This jacket is great! Even after six hours of heavy rain I remained resonably dry (I felt just slightly more damp than my REI R2 pants that kept me absolutely DRY). The jacket seems very breathable (much better than my REI pants)and packed down nicely, in my bag. Two thumbs up!
