I bought this as a solo summer mountain tent and am happy with what I have. It is perfect for one person. If two men are sharing this tent then they are probably sharing more than a tent.

I have not had it in any summer snow conditions (YET), but if you're able to tie it down it should handle a couple of inches, which makes the 5 lb total travel weight reasonable.

It also has two doors and a vestibule at each door though one is quite small. The two-pole setup is very easy to put together. The same with the rain fly. The only downside I could see is that there is not a lot of ventilation for freezing temperatures.

Recently had it on a high winds alpine excursion and came out unscathed.

Up to about 30 days in it so far.

I've had it for a few years on six or seven backcountry trips. Everything has held up well.
