This jacket is incredibly versatile and worth the price, which performs equal to other jackets hundreds of dollars more. This jacket has received Gore's highest waterproof achievement, "Engineered for Extreme Wet Weather." The high chest pockets are maximised and placed strategically to be accessed even when wearing a pack or harness. The flaps of those pockets are nice and tidy, being taped to the inside of the jacket, which prevent them from flapping about (from the inside, it looks even more simple, like a one-piece lamination). The length of this jacket is to the waist, which makes it a lightweight storm shell (685g, Men's medium size). Removeable hood w/one-hand silicone pullcords for volume adjustability, and size variability. Availible in two colours, Black and MEC's Blue#2 (I chose this colour because it shines in different light conditions, literally!)
You can't go wrong with this Jacket.
