User Review: MEC Sprite
Rating: ![]()
Design: mummy with hood
Fill: Thinsulate Lite Loft
Temperature Rating: 5 C
Weight: 1.3 kg?
Price Paid: $135 Can
This bag is plenty warm enough for the temperature rating, used only it on top of a therm-a-rest and a blue foam pad inside a snow hut for a night--very comfy! It has a hood and a shoulder yoke, which lets you tighten everything down for ultimate warmth. I've never tried it, but I suspect I would be quite comfortable at -5 Cel. with this bag. It is going on about two years now with no noticable loss in warmth. It stuffs down WAY smaller than the stuff sack provided, I could easily fit two bags in one stuff sack. For the price, I don't thing you could find a better bag anywhere.
