Used this pair hiking off trail in Yosemite for two weeks. What I like about them: Very comfortable and super ankle support. Best support I could find on the market at the price. They also look nice.

What I don't like: they can get hot (but not unbearable) and the very tip of the sole at the toe peeled back a quarter inch soon after I got them. They haven't pulled away any more, though, in the year following. Great traction on the rocks, too. Very sticky, yet the sole is also pretty rugged. Waterproofing is high enough to be of considerable use, and works well.

Walked through a swamp and several creeks, and through snow at altitude, with no leaks or dampness. They are a little on the heavy side, but if you're looking for support, traction, and waterproof quality at a reasonable price, this is a good choice.
