Merrell Crestbound Gore-Tex
Use this boot for hiking the Adirondack region.
Pros
- Comfortable
- Dry
- Sure footed
- Nice looking
Cons
- Don't really like the laces
I used this boot for the first time doing two ADK high peaks in a day. 12 miles round trip. The trail was very muddy and wet, there were also several places you had to scramble a bit. I was very impressed, my feet stayed dry and blister free!
I was concerned that I didn't "break them in." It wasn't necessary! They also look nice.
One of my only complaints is I did have to remove them twice to get some debris out. Nothing some gaiters won't fix. The boot fit true to size.
