This unfortunately is the worst Merrell shoe I've…

Rating: rated 3 of 5 stars
Materials: leather with some sort of plastic protection
Use: scramble racing. rocky trails
Break-in Period: not long
Weight: not sure. They feel light on the foot
Price Paid: $60

This unfortunately is the worst Merrell shoe I've ever bought. "It still gets a 3 though". The shoe for being a scramble racing shoe is a bit stiff. The protection is there for sure but I think I'd risk getting my foot a little more beat up for a more comfortable shoe. On the good side I work at a bank during the day and I can get them to pass for business casual!

I guess with this one I live pretty close to one of the only Merrell outlets in the country so it was worth every bit of the lower price I paid but I sure wouldn't pay full price for them.
