Here's what other sites are saying:

From RockCreek:
"The unique patented design makes Metolius Curve Nuts very easy to place and read. Historically, the orientation of the curves has been vertical. With the constant angle taper, it is visually easier to tell if you have a solid placement. Metolius Curve Nuts have a constant angle taper but with a twist. The curve is introduced horizontally across the two faces of the piece. These curves assure you of the solid triangulation and offer an additional benefit. Many cracks exhibit inward or outward flare and by curving the faces horizontally, the Curve Nut can naturally accommodate for this phenomenon. So all in all, you get constant angle taper, easy to visually monitor placements, and curves to set up triangulation AND allow for flares and irregularities! We are stoked to offer you this unique and highly functional design!Includes sizes #1 thru #10"

From Moosejaw:
"On Sale. Metolius Curve Nuts 9-10 (Spring 2005) Metolius has perfected CNC machining to the point that we can sculpt almost any shape we want from metal. This has allowed us to optimize our nut and hex shapes for maximum placement security and ease of use. With sophisticated CNC technology, we have perfected the shape of the nut and oriented the curve from side to side rather than top to bottom. The patented Curve Nut shape offers all the advantages of existing curved nut designs (3 points of contact), but it is naturally more stable in flares, and because they have a straight taper from top to bottom, it is much easier to judge placement quality. Many of our team climbers who were reluctant to change over to Curve Nuts when they joined the team, now swear by them. Size 1: Range: .36 - .52in. "I have the non-anodized version of these nuts, and they are truly excellent. They are very easy to place, and I have never had trouble removing them. All in all, they are very solid pieces, and I have no problems with them."
