Naturehike Tofern Full-Zip White Goose Down Pants

For a $93 price these 700 fill, full side zip down pants are a very good buy. Great as over-pants in winter camp. I got these full zip down pants from Amazon for winter camp use so I could just zip them on and off over other clothes and that's exactly why I got a size Large. They seem to have decent quality with good loft but this is an unknown brand so we'll see... They are "made in China," but so are many other down pants from well known brands.  Black is the only color offered, but that's the… Full review

MontBell U.L. Down Inner Pants

So warm and light, there's no reason to leave them at home! I was looking to extend my backpacking season beyond just summer, and wanted to add a warm lower layer to my kit. And in the never-ending quest to lighten my backpacking load, it also had to be lightweight. Having had a MontBell UL Inner Down Jacket for several years, and loving it, I naturally looked at this layer. When I found it on sale, I went for it. Even though I have short legs, the pants fit quite nicely, with elastic cuffs at the… Full review

Feathered Friends 40 Below Pants

Feathered Friends 40 Below Pants; true to their name. Feathered Friends 40 Below Pants are some of the best, if not the best, down insulated pants on the market. They are tough and warm. The toughness comes from a nylon shell with even heavier nylon reinforcement on the seat and knee where you need it most, while the warmth comes from high quality 750 fill power down. The knees are articulated to aid in movement, there are suspenders and full side zips with wind flaps. The shell is also Event, one… Full review

Canada Goose Tundra Down Pant

Very simple, low grade down pants. As per my Snow Mantra review posted earlier, I was issued these pants for work and would not buy them otherwise. Once again they seem to be a 1950s reproduction; heavy and not that warm. No offense to all the other reviewers, but I simply did not care for them at all especially considering the cost. I live and work in the Arctic and often spend many days and weeks out on the barrenlands during the winter, so warm gear is essential, but if it wasn't for the fact… Full review

Canada Goose Tundra Down Pant

In preparation for a winter trip to Alaska, I purchased a pair of Canada Goose Tundra down pants from Sierra Trading Post. And I wasn't disappointed. Standing all day on the frozen surface of a lake covered in two feet of snow, at -10 degrees Fahrenheit and below, with a 10 to 20 knot wind, my legs were never once even the least bit chilly. Admittedly, I was wearing a pair of light weight polypropylene long underpants and a pair of expedition weight Patagonia Synchilla pants underneath the Tundras,… Full review

These pants are top of the line ... Pricey!!! but BaseGear.com 20% off ... e-mail sign-up ... made them more affordable ... That being said ... WOW !!! NICE !!! The construction is what you should get at this price ... The only glitch i see in them is the bottom leg opening ...could have a draw string or velcro… Full review
