Review 11-25-2006 (by Ray Borbon):

The Mont-Bell Versalite Jacket is equipped with water resistant zippers, located for under arm venting, and chest pockets. The jacket is fully seam taped, comes with an adjustable hood for rain, wind and snow, elastic arm cuffs with velcro, elastic band inside chest pockets and is made of a waterproof breathable material.

I've been using this jacket for summer alpine climbing, road biking and short ski trips around the Cascades and British Columbia for about 3 years. It is really cheap compared to high end name brand models like Marmot for example. Durability is good and so is the quality of this jacket. It continues to perform at least 3 times a week riding to work on my bicycle in the Seattle winters, keeping me as dry as it can and the wind from chilling my bones. For a 3 season shell jacket it is perfect. The jacket conforms closely to my body which permits me to climb better with it on ice climbs or for alpine rock climbs. It normally retails for $139. I don't have anything negative to say. Go get one.
