User Review: Montrail GTX

Materials: Leather
Use: Light trekking
Break-in Period: two weeks or so
Weight: light
Price Paid: $50
These were boots that I got on sale. They are INCREDIBLY waterproof. I accidently stepped into a full puddle with them and almost submerged them and my socks were still dry -- and the boots dried overnight.
They are a good boot -- they still look great and I've had them for over two years -- but I don't wear them everyday. They are a little stiff still though. The sole does not have a real "lug" to it too, and though it has held up well is a little slippery at times. Overall a good boot that I like wearing at times - esp when it's wet...
