I thought at 60 dollars this would be a fine alternative to a more expensive Puffball. I regret my decision.

I am mostly happy with the jacket. It has performed well as a light but warm layer. The nagging problem is what happens to anything I put in the right pocket--it falls out. While I understand the left pocket is possibly designed differently for stuffing capacity, the right pocket seems perfectly designed for losing things. Anything I have put in the pocket without closing the zipper falls out sooner or later.

At first discussing the problem via their web page, I was led to believe it was a sewing problem. However, after sending the jacket to Moonstone, they went out on the floor and compared them to other Cirrus's. They then informed me that that is how they are made and I had two choices.

1) give me $80 credit toward other Moonstone products

2) they would return the jacket to me with no changes, I could do as I wish with it

Customer Service was polite, but overall it was a confusing and dissatisfying experience. All said, I plan to do the seam work myself and have a usable product, however, next time I'll get a Puffball.
