I spent a great deal of time researching my purchase of a 3-4 season tent and finally decided on the Moss Titan. I haven't been disappointed with my choice.

If you're into appearances, the Titan is very sharp and distinctive. The Titan has excellent ventilation, thanks to the three very large mesh panels at the front of the tent, with a rear mesh window. It offers great views of the outdoors. They can be secured by zipping up the nylon back panels in case of high winds. The full coverage fly has a hooped vestibule that is large enough to sit up in. The construction is impeccable (as Moss is famous for). Setup isn't quite as easy as a clip design thanks to the all sleeve constrution, but not too bad once you practice a little.

The Titan isn't for everyone, though. At 8 3/4 pounds, it is very heavy for a 2 person tent (fitting three people in this thing would be quite cramped.) It is also expensive (as Moss is also famous for). I, for one, don't mind lugging around the additional weight for a good, reasonably spacious shelter. However, if weight is a real consideration for you, you might look elsewhere.

I've taken this tent through 2 severe thunderstorms, some freezing rain, and some buggy, humid summers. This tent handled all of those conditions very well. I was also considering the Mtn Hardwear Skyview2, which is heavier, has a bit more space (but harder to find enough space to pitch in a foliage-choked campsite), and does have a clip design. However, I would probably have made the same choice if I were to do it over again. The Titan is sturdier, better quality, and a great tent all around.
