User Review: Mountain Hardwear Alcove Jacket

Rating: rated 5 of 5 stars
Price Paid: $150

It was -24 C this morning in Calgary, AB.  Bitterly cold!

I have a Sub Zero jacket, but the down flattens out on my back as I drive into the city. I got the Alcove last year on sale. Used it all day yesterday (-18 C high, with windchill of around -25 C), and today.

It is a VERY WARM jacket. Could not feel the wind, and as the review above mentions, it 'warmed up' almost immediately.

I have quite a few jackets by Patagonia, Arcteryx, Cloudveil, etc., and this is by FAR the warmest one I own - well done!
