User Review: Mountain Hardwear Men's LoDown Jacket

Rating: rated 5 of 5 stars
Fill: down
Price Paid: $69.99

Just got the jacket today (April 9th), so I can't comment on the warmth of it yet.

I am pretty confident that the jacket will be warm. So far the quality looks to be exceptional...par for the course with Mtn. Hardwear.

Anyway, I purchased mine online at a reduced closeout price. There are still several out there on the net for attractive prices.

I mainly want to get the word out about the sizing of this jacket. Many people say it is sized smaller than normal. It is actually sized perfectly if you intend on using as a midlayer for winter sports. The jacket is somewhat form-fitting but not tight. I am 5'11" - 6'00" tall and weigh about 175 lbs and purchased a medium. It fits perfect. The sleeves are perfect length and the bottom of the jacket rests just at the top of my belt. And there is no excess jacket material around the mid section.

If you intend on wearing mostly for casual, around the town use; consider going up a size.
