Rating: rated 4 of 5 stars
Design: 3 season
Sleeps: 2
Ease of Setup: very easy
Weight: 4 lb. 15 oz.
Price Paid: $240

A well designed tent most suitable for light backpacking or bike touring. The floor space is decent, but will probably be slightly uncomfortable for people over 6 ft. tall. The vestibule is decent sized. The best part of the tent is its nearly vertical walls, which provide a lot of useable space. Also very important, of course, is its light weight---this tent is one of the lightest among tents with similar floor space.

The construction is, in my opinion, better than similar tents by Sierra Designs. The tent comes in an unobstrusive green for those of you who don't like loud colors. Overall, I am very happy with the quality and design of the tent.

I chose this tent because it seems to have better construction and more features than others in its class. The freestanding, 2 1/2 pole, clip design makes setup a snap. The fly provides good coverage with a nice vestibule. Ventilation is aided by two sky vents, a rear window, and a door vent. The fly can also be cinched up to provide additional airflow. I'm 6'1" and don't feel cramped. With a good seam sealing, the little tent stays nice and dry but the vertical sidewalls should be staked well in strong winds. Overall, I am very impressed with Mountain Hardwear's effort and would recommend it.
