I was very disappointed with these pants. I've had a pair for just over a year. From the first time I washed them the canvas started to break down. You saw little pulls all over the seams. Every time you wash them they get worse until they fail.
The fabric is comfortable but if they fail it's not worth the price. I too never liked the double pocket, if anything it was annoying. Also, the distance from the crotch to the waist seemed too long to me. I felt like I had a grandpas pants on, and If I pulled them up they were over my bellybutton, which is not comfortable.
So all in all I have to say the pictures look good but they have some work to do if they are going to compete with Carhart...

For the price go with Carhartts. These are nice pants but not worth the price you pay. Both of the ones I own also seem to have shrunk a lot in the waist. If you need something from Jackson go with Cloudveil or a coffee mug.
