User Review: Mountainsmith Frostfire

Rating: rated 5 of 5 stars
Design: internal
Size: 6,590
Number of Pockets: 4
Max. Load Carried: about 45 lbs
Height of Owner: 5'9''
Price Paid: $150

I only paid $150 because I bought it used, a new one will cost about 260. This is one of the best packs ever made. It has an excellent design that makes the pack extremly comfortable. There is a top pouch that will detach for a lumbar pack, mine doesn't because it is the older model. A bungee in the front is very usefull, it keeps gear secured and can also keep a jacket or fleece handy. Two large water bottle pouches on the sides will hold any size bottle known to man. There is a half moon zipper at the bottom of the pack so you can get your sleeping bag out easily.

I would recommend this bag to everyone, it is bombproof and has every feature that is needed and at a decent price. Check out my other reviews on the mountainsmith backcountry express, and
the tour bag, both are great for day hikes, mountain biking and for messing around town.
