The filter did a good job of handling lake water for 5 days. It was easy to operate since a Nalgene bottle can be screwed on the pump.

This is a good filter for one or two people, but is too slow for a larger group to use. The single pump action is slower than then duel pump action of other MSR pumps.

The small design is great for packing in an outer pocket for ease of availability.
