This is not the pack for gram counting weenies. The slogan "tools, not toys!" says it all. If you need a pack to go to remote areas and not worry about your load carrying, then look no further. This pack is made in America and it shows! Put your sleeping bag in a Sea to Summit sil-nylon compression sack and your spare clothes, tent, and food in 3 more sil-nylon sacks, arrange everything inside the pack in 2 vertical columns with the food bag across the top inside, crank down on all the load control straps, and you are good to go!
